QCCL is pleased to present the 2021 Derek Fielding Memorial Lecture. This year’s lecture will be presented by Queensland Law Society Presidnet Elizabeth Shearer, and will focus upon issues of Access to Justice.
Elizabeth Shearer is the QLS President for 2021. She was the Deputy President for 2020 and is the Chair of the Access to Justice Pro Bono Committee. Elizabeth is a director of Shearer Doyle Law, incorporating Doyle Family Law, a specialist family law practice, and Affording Justice, focused on meeting the needs of “the missing middle” who are not accessing solicitors when they need help for everyday legal problems. Elizabeth is also a Director of the Law Council of Australia and a member of the Law Council of Australia’s Access to Justice Committee.
